When it comes to designing a football medal, we believe it’s more than just metal and ribbon; it’s a hard-earned victory you can hold. Whether it’s a grassroots final or a high-energy street football showdown, each medal tells a story. At MedalStudio, we have had the honour of working with some brilliant organisers and clubs across the UK and USA, bringing their football events to life with custom-made awards.
Here are five of our absolute favourite football medal designs. Each one bold, meaningful, and proudly crafted by our team.
1. Volta Street Football – London Final 2022

This design is as energetic as the event itself. Created for the London Final of Volta Street Football 2022, the medal captures the raw, urban energy of street football. The sharp angles and bold typography on the acrylic material reflect the edgy, fast-paced nature of the game.
Featuring a stylised football silhouette and dynamic motion lines, this medal screams action. The bold yellow and black contrast makes it stand out on and off the pitch, just like the players who earned it.
Why we love it:
It’s got attitude. This football medal doesn’t just say “champion”, it feels like one.
2. ERY Football League – Division 1 Champions 2024

This bold and clean design was created for the ERY Football League, celebrating their Division 1 Champions for the 2024 season. The silhouette of a player mid-strike captures the competitive heart of grassroots football, framed by a gold-toned circular gradient that adds depth and motion.
The typography is clear and commanding, and circles around the central artwork. This, paired with a vibrant red ribbon for that finishing touch of prestige. It’s a classic design, but far from ordinary.
Why we love it:
It’s simple, strong, and says exactly what it needs to, a real champion’s medal.
3. Cage Football Tournament 2024 – South London

Talk about modern street style. This 2024 South London Cage Football Tournament medal pushes the boundaries with its square shape and graffiti-inspired background. The bold, abstract scribbles mimic the creative chaos of the cage.
The yellow centre pitch icon gives it a vibrant, urban edge, while the soft silver edge frames the design in a sleek, contemporary way.
Why we love it:
It’s unique. The square shape, graffiti artwork, and layout make this football medal unforgettable.
4. Cage Football Tournament 2023 – South London

Another street-style favourite, this 2023 edition from the same tournament series is strikingly different in style. The red-and-black graffiti pattern evokes the gritty, competitive nature of cage football, while the clean white outer rim adds balance and contrast.
We also love the symmetrical layout, bold stars, and modern font, which make this a crowd-pleaser among younger players. It’s edgy, yes, but also very polished.
Why we love it:
It shows how consistent branding across years can still offer fresh takes. And that red ribbon? Perfect touch.
5. London City Strikers Medal

This one’s a fan-favourite, and for good reason. The London City Strikers medal uses wood as its base material, making it more sustainable and lightweight, while still delivering a bold punch. The design features a vivid lightning bolt slicing through a red football, surrounded by a deep blue ring of stars and text.
The bright yellow ribbon gives it a fun, youthful energy that’s perfect for youth leagues and city tournaments alike.
Why we love it:
It’s fun, fierce, and eco-conscious. A football medal that sparks excitement and reflects values.
